Smitty’s Smokin’ Soul Food was born out of a deep love for food, family, and a way to bring people together. Ever since that first day selling our home-made brisket, we realized that we aren’t just selling food, but a way for people to get back to the family time that matters. Whether it is weddings, events, community gatherings or just some at home catering, Smitty’s Smokin Soul Food does exactly what our name says…. brings the soul back to food!
It’s our humble effort to bring the vitality of the Smith Family Recipe to the heart of the Upstate and look forward to serving you soon.

Our journey began in 2018, when we decided to bring the family recipe out of the Smith Family “Vault.” We wanted to bring some of the family traditions we have enjoyed for generations to Greenville. Thankfully our experience in restaurants came in handy, but nothing could prepare us for the great joy and satisfaction that Smitty’s Smokin’ Soul Food has brought to us.
